The Charles Allis Art Museum is undergoing an exciting transformation, and we’re inviting trusted leaders, creatives, and changemakers like you to play a role in shaping its future.
As we rebuild and reimagine the museum in 2025, we’re forming advisory committees that align with our top priorities—fundraising, programming, community engagement, financial planning, and more. These small working groups will support the board and museum staff by sharing expertise, ideas, and networks to help us reach our goals.
This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully—without the full commitment of a board seat—while supporting one of Milwaukee’s cultural treasures.
We are currently looking for community members to serve on advisory committees in the following areas:
- Fundraising & Development
- Governance & Board Recruitment
- Finance & Business Planning
- Marketing & Community Engagement
- Programming & Exhibitions
- Facilities, Operations & Collections

Gallery Floaters circulate through exhibit spaces, assist guests, and help ensure a positive and respectful visitor experience.
Training and support are provided—no prior experience needed. Sign up today and be part of something special at the Charles Allis!
